 Trump Reacts to Taylor Swift's Endorsement of Harris, Says He Prefers Brittany Mahomes

Donald Trump was already facing criticism from both Democrats and Republicans following a shaky debate performance on Tuesday night. To add to his challenges, one of the world's most famous figures, Taylor Swift, publicly endorsed his opponent, Kamala Harris.

“I’m voting for [Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post shortly after the debate. “She is a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe our country can achieve so much more if led by calm rather than chaos.”

When asked about Swift’s endorsement of Harris the next morning, Trump brushed it off during an interview on Fox News, stating he preferred Swift’s close friend, Brittany Mahomes, instead.

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, to be honest,” Trump said. “She’s a big Trump supporter. I was never a Taylor Swift fan.”

He added, “It was only a matter of time... You couldn’t endorse Biden. Just look at him. But she’s always been very liberal, always backing Democrats. She’ll probably face some consequences for it in the marketplace. But no, I prefer Brittany.”
